I have been catching up on episodes of the Paperclipping Roundtable on my commute to and from work every day. Last week I was listening to an episode that addressed getting others perspectives down on your scrapbook pages. I decided to come up with a list of questions to ask Keira and put the "interview" on my page.
Some of the answers surprised me -- what do you want to be when you grow up? Ps she really has no interest whatsoever in sitting on the potty ;)
I used some newer AC papers, along with some older stuff from my stash and my Cameo for this layout. The 'she said' is Pacifico font and I cut the hearts out with it as well. The 2012 flair in the bottom corner is from a flair for buttons -- check out her shop, she has some new Balloons & Rainbows flair that reminds me of Sassafras stuff that's to die for! {look for that on some of my projects soon ;)

{another year with GCD}
I am excited to be joining GCD Studios for another year! The collections this year are really gorgeous and I can't wait to work with them more :) Check out the blog to see the other designers!
Also I need to share my CHA projects with you.
This layout uses the Flower Child collection. Love the bright colors. I used a sunburst effect for this layout and stitched along the edges.
This is the Sweet Tooth collection. Lots of pinks, perfect for my girl ;)
Splendor! This is my fave collection :)
Here is Country Charm. I really love that star patterned paper :)
This one uses Bonjour - I love the color combos in this one!
And last but not least -- Oh Happy Day -- Heidi Sonboul's new line. I love the colors and patterns in this one! Just awesome.

{sweet baby}
I finally got a chance to scrap one of our first ultrasound pics! I tried to keep this page gender neutral since we don't know the sex yet, but it seemed to come out a little girly....
I got a chance to use the new Dear Lizzy Neopolitan paper I ordered from 2peas too ;) I didn't get in on all of the embellishments, but we are going out of town in a few weeks and we'll be near an Archiver's so hoping I can pick up the rest of them! And I am happy to see vellum making a comeback in this line. I always liked it.
I sketched a sunburst pattern for the background, then cut different papers to fit and stitched the edges. I love how the stitching adds just the right amount of texture.
Well I've done way too much of my two favorite things today (painting and laundry - blech) so now it's time to scrap. ;)

{lovely day + the scrapbooking studio}
First off, I am really excited to be joining the DT at The Scrapbooking Studio for another term! I really love working with Stacy and Amy, and if you are in the area {eastern IA, western IL} you need to stop by. Seriously the best scrapbooking store around :)
I stopped by a couple of weeks ago and found the new My Mind's Eye lines and snatched some right up. It's very rare that Adam will let me take a good photo of him so I had to take advantage of it!
I used the Polaroid-style patterned paper for my background and added different papers and embellishments to all the space. I actually scrapped this page the same day I took the photos which is pretty rare!
We had such a great day this day, went to an OB appointment, then out for pancakes at IHOP and took Keira to the Children's Museum.

{don't stop - elle's studio}
I was honored last weekend to be a part of Make it Sunday at Elle's Studio! I got the chance to work with some of her newer tags and came up with this layout.
For the bottom portion of the layout I used my circle punch to make a row of circles, and popped this up using foam adhesive. I embellished the centers with various buttons & brads.
I also used my Silhouette for the large heart and the tab behind the title. Thanks for looking!

{last project!}
My term at Pretty Little Studio has come to an end. A big thanks to Melissa and Mary Jo for such a great design team experience! I had a lot of fun over the last year.
For my layout, I scrapped a few photos of Keira and her cousin Eli at Thanksgiving last year. I didn't want to do the traditional Thanksgiving patterns and colors, so I just took a mix of patterned papers and stitched them down sort of like a quilt.
Thanks for stopping by!
